Recently, at my home in Suburban Maryland, I had the great pleasure and honor of hosting ten wonderful young people from a ministry called YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CANNOT HIDE INTERNATIONAL.
These are young people with a thirst for the Truth and a fervent desire to be about the work of The Great Commission of Our Lord Jesus Christ, as recorded in the 28th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, beginning in the 19th verse. During their five-day stay at my home they arose early, prayed together, and then traveled the forty-five minute commute to downtown Washington, DC, where they shared the gospel with young and old alike on the city streets.
These are young folks not who are not only committed to sharing a Christian Worldview but who also know their history—American history. They know how to make the connection—the application—of Biblical knowledge to the jurisdiction of civil government, and the limits that God places on the domain of the civil magistrate. They know who our Founding Fathers were and they know what those Founders believed.
